Steak house

Fine dining restaurant

Seafood restaurant

Located in the Four Seasons Resort, DUO Steak & Seafood is a high-end establishment renowned for its delectable steaks, seafood, and extensive wine selection. With open-air seating and a luxurious poolside backdrop, this culinary jewel offers an intimate and inviting atmosphere. The bar boasts an impressive international wine list that has been recognized with the Wine Spectator's 2021 Award of Excellence. Skilled mixologists are on hand to craft refreshing specialty co*cktails.

My mom and I had a wonderful experience at DUO! I reserved a table for a special dinner with my mom with a note that we were there to celebrate the life of my aunt that had just passed away. We arrived early to our reservation so we sat in the bar while we waited - we were served two complimentary glasses of champagne in honor of my aunt. That in itself was so thoughtful! We were then taken to our section - Bo, our server was outstanding. So attentive and he gave wonderful recommendations! I HIGHLY recommend the chocolate avocado mousse at the end of your night. At the end of dinner, my mom said “that was like a dinner experience of a lifetime”. Next time we’re in Maui, we’ll be back here! Thank you for such a memorable experience.

Ciera Mayes — Google review

Definitely recommend! Service is amazing, as you expect from a nice Steakhouse or from the Four Seasons itself. The steak was cooked great and flavorful. Great wine list, I thought. We really enjoyed the truffle bread and the onion rings! The crab cakes and chocolate souffle were just okay.

Christina Huynh — Google review

For a steak restaurant on an island surrounded by water, this place was amazing! My husband and I like looking for steak restaurants when we travel and it can be incredibly hard to find a steakhouse in Hawaii that accommodates their menu with different cuts of beef. They offer seafood too, but we are red meat lovers and everyone in my party had steak for dinner. The service was amazing; the quality of the food/dessert was fantastic; and the drinks from the bar were stellar! Everyone enjoyed their meals. I loved the ambiance and location/setting of the restaurant. We took a pathway down to the ocean and watched the sunset before dinner. Overall it was a really great experience that exceeded my expectations and we enjoyed our night! I would HIGHLY recommend this place if you’re looking for some AMAZING steak on the Island!!!

Megan — Google review

My partner and I were looking forward to dinner at DUO but sadly the food and drinks just did not hit the mark.Drinks - wine was okay. The espresso martini was very unfortunate and a misrepresentation of the four seasons. Rather than the classic espresso, coffee liqueur, simple syrup shaken until frothy, DUO’s version was definitely just Kalua + Baileys.Appetizers - truffle milk bread is essentially Parker rolls baked in a cast iron pan, topped with a bit of truffle oil. Skip this, not great as far as dinner rolls. The crab and fish cakes were forgettable and we barely finished them.Steak - the ribeye was probably the best thing we ate here but even then it wasn’t stellar. As a steakhouse we’d expect the steak to be decent and it was just that.Sides - the most disappointing were the Parmesan truffle fries. These are the poolside fries and you can really tell. Frozen fries, pre-shredded Parmesan cheese sitting under a heat lamp. The mac and cheese photographs well but doesn’t taste great and I love macaroni and cheese! It could be improved by using larger pasta. Onion rings were our favorite side but you’re not coming here for onion rings.I hope this helps someone deciding between restaurants because we wish we tried Ferraros or another resort restaurant instead. We ended up going to the Andaz the next day to change it up and that was the right choice. The hotel is one of my favorite Four seasons but their food and bev needs a major fix!

Nancy Chen — Google review

Lovely atmosphere & view! The kitchen was backed up as we waited 30min for entrees, and more than twice as long as told for the chocolate soufflés. That said, everything was delicious. Beautifully presented. Service was good overall.

Larry Hansen — Google review

Absolutely excellent! Lovely dinner for two, with a good variety of steaks (we ordered a the Wagyu New York strip) and other dishes (such as the Lobster Panang curry). Classic delicious sides work well with the entrees. The steak was so tender and delicious, didn't really need the side sauces (which were still good). Service was attentive and excellent. Drinks, great too! Will definitely be back to try other dishes :)

Alex Chen — Google review

The food is really good but the restaurant is extremely understaffed. We ordered the butchers cut 28oz bone in steak and fresh catch with sides of fries and Brussels sprouts. However, our server didn’t take care of us til we sat down for 20min. We waited another 50min for the food in the chilly evening. It took another 20min for getting check and etc. Our server was definitely overloaded with too many tables.

Kunyao Liu — Google review

Celebrated my fiancées birthday here last week, we had an amazing time! Great steaks, truffle Mac, drinks, service, and ambiance. Recommend trying the different steak sauces, they were a fun touch. We will be back!

Megan McGeary — Google review

Definitely recommend dinner here. The filet and flat iron steaks were perfect. Try the truffle mac & cheese, you won't be sorry! The service was top notch. Not sure if necessary, but we made our reservation a month in advance.

jennifer heath — Google review

Add our anniversary dinner here. I ordered the prime ribeye my wife, ordered a salad with chicken on it and two of our friends had fillet. Do you atmosphere was incredible, and the steak was perfectly prepared. Our server Beu was on point and made really good suggestions for the wine. Highly recommend giving this place a try!***edit***I wrote this review too soon. I did not realize that we would fine ourselves at Duo every morning for breakfast. While the breakfast menus is amazing I must confess that our favorite way to start the morning has been at the juice bar… with a quick pit stop by the cinnamon buns… AMAZING!Our server in the morning has been Rico. His service matched that of Beu.Thank you so much for having us. Wonderful food, staff, and experience

Severance Productions — Google review

Easy to get a reservation online. We came at 6:15 to catch the sunset. There is a man that lights the torches at night. Good vibes. If you’re coming from a different hotel for dinner, they have a shuttle to take you back. Everything was delicious at dinner, the avocado mousse could have been richer and a little sweeter for my taste. The salad you can do a half portion for two people is perfect. Service was amazing and the atmosphere is good for families or couples!

S M — Google review

Duo was an amazing experience. Not only is the food so delicious but the service is 5 stars!! We were running late for our reservation, 10 minutes past closing. Upon our arrival, we were worried that they might tell us they were closed and we had arrived too late. To our surprise, the total opposite happened. The manager, Barry, came and thanked us for calling, and he said he had informed the chef. He then walked us to our table. He was so sweet, and we felt very welcomed. Our server, Nick, was caring and took his time explaining items on the menu. He was very friendly and it was evident that he took pride in his job and was happy to be there. Nick is a prime example of someone who embodies the aloha spirit. That night was so special for me as I was visiting my two closest friends who live on Maui. Both affected by the fire. Thank you, Nick, Barry, and Chef, for everything you did that night. We will never forget it.

Monica Br — Google review

Amazing restaurant. We reserved a table and I recommend it as it was busy at night. The staff was very attentive, especially with drinks. The food came out fairly quickly. I highly recommend the 6 oz filet, it was amazing steak, and though it didn't need dipping sauce, the sauces they provided paired great with it. The sides were great too. The truffle macaroni and cheese was my favorite, as well as the onion rings. Their lemonade tasted very fresh, as opposed to many places where it is obvious lemon powder. The entire restaurant was decorated very well too, and we were able to see the ocean from our table. I also received a congratulations chocolate to top off the dining experience. Overall, I would absolutely come here again and I really enjoyed the food!

Nicklaus Anderson — Google review

Where do I start! This restaurant is amazing. From the very second we arrived, we were greeted amazingly. I made a note on the reservation that my girlfriend and I had just gotten engaged. The hostess congratulated us. The waiter congratulated us, and even the manager made a point to come over and congratulate us. Not to mention, the drinks and the food were absolutely amazing. Our waiter was prompt and very attentive. All of the drinks and even the dessert, all amazing. Definitely worth the price.

Hawaiian restaurant

Ka'ana Kitchen is a contemporary restaurant in Maui that offers Hawaii Regional cuisine featuring local ingredients. The restaurant boasts a modern and inviting atmosphere, with sleek daytime vibes and romantic low lighting at night. Their menu changes seasonally, but you can expect dishes like Kona Kampachi poke with Hawaiian chili pepper and beets, grilled octopus with Big Island chevre, and risotto made with local Ali' mushrooms and miso. Each dish is flavorful and vibrant, served family-style in generous portions.

The mushroom risotto was very light tasting. Not as heavy and rich as I’m used to. I enjoyed it very much. The watermelon salad might have won the table for the night. Knowledgeable about gluten—which was great.

Matthew Wilson — Google review

The fruit and juice is fresh. The hot food station offers a unique meat and starch option each day. The egg/omelette offering varies in consistency depending on the cook. The baked goods are meh. The waitstaff are very warm, detail-oriented and good at customer service. They rock! The food rating is lower (my benchmark is other brunch buffets I’ve had on Oahu) I am glad to receive the breakfast as part of an inclusive room offer.

Nina V — Google review

Our meal was incredible. You can definitely taste how fresh everything was! Every interaction with the staff, from host to server, was very pleasant and you could definitely feel the staff really care about providing a great experience. I highly recommend the octopus salad and fresh catch of the day.

Nancy Tran — Google review

Really beautiful place with great service. The food was amazing and we really enjoyed our time. We arrived a little early (before they open), so had a chance to walk the property.Note that there's only valet parking, but they do validate. Also, the restaurant doesn't do cash.I'd recommend a table at the open kitchen if you're into that sort of thing.Update: came back exactly a year later, and everything remains true. This is probably the best fine dining experience on the island.

Dani Halfin — Google review

Amazing breakfast buffet, we went twice., staff was very friendly..Dinner was great, would highly recommend visiting this badass restaurant, especially for breakfast buffet!

Abigail L — Google review

I recently dined at Ka'ana Restaurant, and I must say I was quite disappointed with the service. The slow service at Ka'ana made for a frustrating dining experience. It took an unusually long time for the staff to take our orders and even longer for the food to arrive at our table. Throughout the meal, we had to constantly flag down servers to inquire about our orders and request drink refills. While the food quality was decent, the extended wait times made it challenging to enjoy the meal fully. I hope Ka'ana Restaurant can address this issue in the future to provide a more pleasant dining experience for its customers.

Gerrick Oloresisimo — Google review

Beautiful spot at Amdaz hotel. View is gorgeous. Service excellentNot vegetarian friendly. Only options were heavy cheese based risotto or a salad. Zero vegan options. Their online menu is wrong so don't go based on that.Micktails are fabulous!

A Verma — Google review

Stunning sunset dinner overlooking picturesque hotel grounds that flow into the ocean. No better way to spend our last night in Maui. The clams appetizer was a favorite while the watermelon with Feta and candied walnuts was interesting and the cheese taste with the watermelon taste pushed the boundaries of our palette.Mains were the fried chicken, Uku Snapper, and Mushroom Risotto with a 62 degree egg.Everything was amazing, but the risotto was elevated! Highest recommendation for this dish as a main or as an accompaniment.

Bert Jean — Google review

Nice restaurant, with an amazing view. The service was warm and friendly, but the menu is small. I very much enjoyed the Ahi Tataki, but the Big Eye Tuna was not my favorite. The gnocchi and wagyu were delicious though.

Paul B — Google review

A decent meal at Ka'ana kitchen. Appetizers were pretty good - including the watermelon salad, octopus salad, wagyu hanger steak and scallops. Mains were considerably worse - ribeye was not cooked great and very chewy (for $105), seared tuna was overseared. Kampachi was good and the gnocchi side were amazing. Service was good. Wine by the glass options were limited and very expensive, even by Maui standards.

Boris Nemirov — Google review

Dining here was an amazing experience. Despite deciding relatively last minute to book a table, they were able to accommodate us quite nicely, even providing an outside table with a decent view. The food itself was delicious, especially the rib eye steak. Topped with a satisfying dessert, it is hard to find a better way to celebrate Mother's Day.

Eric Lee — Google review

Ka'ana Kitchen is a lovely place for a romantic dinner with a beautiful back drop of the ocean and if you time it right the sunset. The mocktails we had were delicious. I ordered the cucumber, ginger, mint and I think my wife had a pineapple flavored mocktail. I ordered the fish of the day and it was very good. Seemed to wholesome. It was served with bok choy and black rice. Apparently, black rice is the rice that was only served to the royal family. No royal family here but I did score the rice. My wife is vegetarian so ordered the Risotto and it was good. I can't say this place is vegetarian friendly so you should keep that in mind. Our waiter was very good and attentive. The place was not busy, I would assume because it was Super bowl Sunday evening after the game but I can't say why for sure. This place is on the pricey side so you may want to keep that in mind. They do provide valet parking validation which is nice and the restaurant is in a 5 star hotel.

Deli

Coffee shop

Island Gourmet Markets is a low-cost gourmet grocery store with delicious, hearty plate lunches and sides to take home. The store is well-maintained, but the food selections are what make it great - everything from steak to poke bowls can be found here.

Island Gourmet Market is an upscale ABC Store where you can get an amazing Kalua Pork LocoMoco at their full service deli. It is so filling that it can be easily split between two people (we discovered this after we ordered one for each of us). We also got drinks, Hawaiian blend coffee and a Blue Hawaii lemonade. Everything was really good and I highly recommend going. Once you’re done you can walk off your calories by checking out the Shops at Wailea.

Canli Mertz — Google review

Large selection from typical groceries and alcohol to Hawaiian clothes and gifts with a nice kitchen (seafood too). Prices are slightly high, there is ample parking and it is the most convenient store if you are at Residence inn.

Alan Varghese — Google review

This was a great little grocery convenient store. They've got a little bit of everything and a food area with all types of foods from sandwiches to rice bowls, sushi and poke bowls. I came here 3 days in a row for their poke bowl. It was so fresh and they have so many different options. The smoked octopus was so delicious. If you're looking for a good poke bowl this is the place.

Yu-Hsien Ho — Google review

This is a place to go within while at the Marriott, Hyatt, and other nearby resort properties when fed-up with inflated restaurant prices. This is an amazing place within easy walking distance. They prepare wonderful food for all meals and snacks too. Full service coffee bar, juice bar, and convenience store.

Jim Larue — Google review

Island Gourmet Market has always been there for me. During the hardest times of many people’s life’s this store stayed open as an essential business. They have everything you could possibly need to survive. Food, beverages, coffee and anything else. I have the highest respect for the team of professional’s that run this establishment. Thank you for all you do for our community. Aloha and mahalo 🤙

Dano Sayles, REALTOR: The Sayles Team — Google review

What a great store! Very tasty deli and great selection of everything you need. We have been visiting Maui for nearly two decades now - The Poke you get at Island Gourmet is one of the best you can get on the Island. Tsunami, Hawaiian, Spicy, Oyster sauce Ahi Poke - All outstanding!!Highly recommended!

Markus Ribbe — Google review

very nice little grocery store that offers all essentials. many guests from nearby resort hotels as well as locals shop here. not cheap but cheaper than hotel restaurants for sure. staff is super attentive and friendly.

Solo Traveler — Google review

The food is decent. Service is incredible except coffee place. I asked for a smoothie, but Chelzia asked me to wait. I managed to do shopping in store during 20 minutes wait . All staff was super nice but I think they are understaffed staffed

K L — Google review

The store is nice, but the food selections are what is great. We had take out here a couple times during our stay and were happy with the food and prices.

Bill Joyce — Google review

This was such a cool market. Tons of hot and ready meals from breakfast to lunch to dinners - fresh fruit (mangos, papaya, pineapple, dragon fruit, etc), dragon fruit smoothies (a must try - so refreshing and light), açaí bowls, fresh poke bowls, Japanese bentos, musubi, etc. my husband and I would walk from our resort to grab lunch here most days!

Marisa Moore — Google review

This is a great store to pick up a few speciality items or to buy prepared food. There's a nice counter which produces hot and cold food items and you can ask for plastic cutlery if you want to eat on the go or outside the store at one of the few tables. Quality is good. The store also stocks some interesting food products that are not often found elsewhere - living up to its gourmet name. Check out the Salted Egg Salmon Skin (see picture) - it is delicious! Prices are a little higher than elsewhere, so it's perhaps not a great place to do a full grocery shop.

Neil Saunders — Google review

I have never had worse food poisoning in my life after eating the breakfast burrito this morning. Within 30 minutes of eating only half of it I new something was wrong. After 6 hours of agonizing stomach pain it came back up with a vengeance. There goes a day of my vacation. Avoid the in house made food like the plague.

Hotel

Villa

This 15-acre resort in Maui offers guests a myriad of high-end amenities, such as deluxe ocean view rooms, premiere Andaz Suites and Villas with two, three or four bedrooms. It is situated on the sunny southwestern shore of Maui and is known for its beautiful beaches and luxury resorts.

This resort is very much a chill/relax type of vibe. It has a small private beach area and tons of infinity pools throughout. The breakfast here is amazing. They have a great variety of breakfast/ lunch options that they do switch out everyday. The service of phenomenal here also.

Johan Colon-Sanchez — Google review

I really wanted to like this place but in all honesty it is a 3-4 star hotel at best with a ridiculous price tag.The hotel is nicely decorated with good view, staffs were overall friendly but the positives end here. It was extremely crowded at lots of families and kids running around. There is 20 min wait for breakfast every morning. Breakfast buffet seems like a decent selection but they are the same plates of flavorless stale food every day. Extra charge for espresso seems petty considering the charge. Some “cleaned” plates and utensils have not been properly cleaned. Staffs were friendly but they seem short staffed. Also about $100 extra per night in resort fees and parking which is not included.Concierge were nice but they are more like car salesmen trying to get you to buy excursion packages than to provide service.I did like some amenities including the classes. However some of them such as the 45 min “complimentary” photography session which the concierge tries to sell us on seem like a complete scam. While the 45 min session is “free”, each DIGITAL picture costs $79 which is ridiculous.Overall my experience was fine but this place just does not have the level of fineness and attention to detail expected from a luxury hotel. Having said that, if we had paid $300 per night I would not have complained about any of it. Charging $1000/night though is ludicrous and the product definitely did not deliver.

Great Location - walkable to everything, has a private beach, gives out free beach towels, snorkeling gear, and beach loungers/umbrellas for beach days. The pools are very cool and well maintained. Fresh water with lemon/lime pool side every day.Close to the ocean with private walk way up to the beach.Entrance and hallways are always spotless and look very nice with their decor.On-site coffee house had great coffee and snacks (highly recommend their macadamia nut oat milk latte).Valet was attentive and quick.Room was basic but had good views. Comfy king size bed with standard white duvet. AC was wonderful and controllable from our room.Only negatives I have: We did not receive a water bottle at check-in and did not have any in our room. Had to ask to get water bottle after hearing other guests received these at check in.Bathroom was a tad dirty - long hairs in the shower faucet and white stains around the shower floor and walls.

Marisa Moore — Google review

This has to be the worst Resort I have ever stayed in and would have left if I could have received a refund. Our arrival started with reservation date issues the Andaz made. They fixed it, but the service was abysmal at the front desk. I thought it was just a fluke, but the front desk had a pattern of terrible service as there were other mistakes.Part way through the stay, we had to change rooms, we knew this was happening; but, was also a bad experience. They set us up in the wrong room. Then gave away the room we were supposed to have and finally figured out how to get us a room that we had already paid for. But, they did not provide valet service to help us move our luggage. We had to call multiple times for valet. When no one showed, the front desk called us and said we had to vacate our old room, or be charged for an extra day. I told them we would be happy to if someone could assist us.We finally got to the new room and it was not clean and it was run down. Every corner was dented or dinged, every cabinet would not stay closed and the floor and back of the way too low sinks were dusty. Thankfully, most of it was eventually cleaned up.But, we were already disappointed by this point and the overly hard bed, expensive drinks made with funky alcohol choices and lack of food options (all the restaurants serve the same, limited menu) , just exasperated it.Even though there are lots of pools and the beach is nice, the resort is not worth the money. There is no place to sit just to watch the ocean, a theme across the whole resort. There are few trashcans. The breakfast is mediocre. There is no communication about noisy events, nor construction. We had a band playing late into the evening below our balcony and construction right outside our door and there was no notice about any of it.We could not wait to go home. We had better experiences at far less expensive reports and with several others in Wailea, there is no reason to waste your time and money at this one.

Robert Hankin — Google review

This is easily the best hyatt property we have stayed. Loved the infinity pools and getting a massage at the spa is a must which was excellent. They upgraded our room to an ocean view room and even gave us champagne and chocolates. The service was on par. Everything was luxurious and room was pretty high tech . I would recommend the luau at the property as well. Beach by the hotel was pretty good and we even saw turtles while snorkeling. We had a great snorkeling experience. I would highly recommend this property for relaxing or just experiencing luxury. Also get the shaved ice at the property. It's served in a coconut shell

Siddharth Diwanji — Google review

I've been there for dinner a few times. It's a nice place, friendly staff. I haven't seen the rooms, but have heard they're a little small, as it was converted from old condo units. Play at the beach, sleep in the room.

Travis Guthrie — Google review

Five stars all the way around for the is beautiful resort. From the pools to the rooms to the restaurants, this place hits every single spot. Prices are definitely steep as can be expected in Maui but $100 for a breakfast buffet for two?! Probably my only gripe because outside of the breakfast we enjoyed every aspect of this resort and would definitely come back again.

Doug B — Google review

Very good hotel and great service. There are some things that can be improved especially for the price you pay for rooms. If not for the price, this is an easy 5 star hotel. However, when you pay this much, it must have everything done right. Some downsides include showers going hot and cold a lot especially during popular shower times. You can hear a lot of the noise from upstairs or next door with hardly any insolation for the sound. Although the paneling/shutter looks of doors appears aesthetically pleasing, the actual practicality of using them is bad. You have to literally slam the bathroom doors shut since the only closure device is on the tops of the door frames and pure metal to metal. When we arrived, the panel under the TV entertainment center was fallen off. You could tell that this has happened before from the clips being broken and a makeshift screw being drilled in - looking obviously out of place. Another con, no happy hour available. The food near the pool is pretty awful, and those thoughts were shared by neighboring couples also stating displeasure. We tried about 5 different items and only liked 1. We stayed at this resort as well as a four seasons in Hawaii. I would have to favor the four seasons for overall service, rooms, and value for the money. However, still a great hotel and very friendly staff!

Shane G — Google review

It's peaceful and relaxing... the perfect place to unwind. Newly refreshed rooms, dining choices, and amazing location! A great choice for your next visit to Maui!

Teri Young — Google review

Amazing stay at this beautiful property. The warm welcome (with refreshing lavender lemonade), the comfortable room in the Tranquility wing, and the amazing staff all combined for an incredible stay.

Damian Balinowski — Google review

Oomg what an amazing resort. It’s not a very big resort, but lots of pools, activities and super awesome people. Food and drinks were great. I wish there were a bit more veggie options. But very clean place with a private beach, stylish and very cool resort. The luau was also so so good. Highly recommend it.

Archana Gollamudi — Google review

Stayed here with my wife for our honeymoon. Booked it because it was part of Amex's Fine Hotel + Resorts program. 10/10 experience all around. Beautiful bold modern aesthetic rooms and modern shared spaces. Servers were top notch. Their breakfast buffet is high quality with lots of variety. Restaurants on resort was top notch. Private beach and pools with lots of space for seating. Only issue is that it was priced higher than other hotels in the area. Yes, it is more premium than other hotels but in my opinion not worth the price difference. At the rates charged, I believe more should be offered such as beach service, cushion beach chairs, complementary massages etc.

Anthony Nguyen — Google review

Andaz Maui at Wailea is THE resort to be at in Wailea! It is modern and contemporary with real upscale and luxurious amenities. It is beautiful, the best located, and has in my opinion the best services. The hotel, pools, beach front, and restaurants are all absolutely incredible. It has something for everyone and the staff and services are incredible. We attended a wedding here too and it was picturesque! I like the Andaz better than the four seasons and will be back for whale season sometime soon!

Tilak Kalaria — Google review

When choosing a resort in Maui, we were in between the Andaz and the Four Seasons. We ended up going with the Andaz because for the same price we were going to get a better ocean view room. After staying at the Andaz for 2 nights we wish we would’ve chosen the latter. For its high price, we were expecting a 5* luxury resort . It is a beautiful resort, good location, staff is friendly. However the food and drinks are not good. Drinks are super expensive but very small and weak. The beautiful infinity pools are crowded with rowdy, unsupervised kids. It’s not peaceful at all . Only 1 jacuzzi always filled with kids playing. There was garbage everywhere. Cups left at the pool, garbage cans overflowing to top by beach entrance, wet pool towels left on couches. Garbage inside elevator.I guess we were just expecting better. It didn’t meet our high expectations. It is a very nice place but don’t have super high expectations.

I stayed here for a week and loved it. Everyone was super friendly and my room was very comfortable. The spa is so luxurious and was a great spot for my last day at the hotel. The food and drinks offered were always fresh and tasty, especially everything pineapple!!

Hawaiian restaurant

Restaurant

Humble Market Kitchin, located in Wailea Beach Resort, offers a sophisticated dining experience with an Asian influence and beautiful ocean vistas. This upscale establishment, helmed by renowned chef Roy Yamaguchi, showcases the best of Hawaiian cuisine using seasonal and locally sourced ingredients. From their backyard garden to the fresh catch of fish and shellfish from the coast, Humble Market Kitchin delivers a delightful culinary journey.

We had our wedding dinner here and were very happy with the service and food!Communication from the beginning was very prompt and easy. Marie was our point of contact and she was timely in her responses and helpful in answering our questions. When we arrived to our private room, the table was beautifully decorated. The servers did a great job and the food was delicious (some of our friends and family said this was their favourite meal during the trip!)Halfway through the dinner, some of the young kids started falling asleep and the staff went above and beyond by bringing in cushions and pillows for them to sleep on :)All in all, we are happy we chose the Humble Market Kitchen for our wedding dinner. They made the planning easy and the food tasted incredible.

Had breakfast and Happy hour here. The restaurant is beautiful and having drinks while watching the sunset, can’t ask for more. During happy hour, we ordered ribs and calamari. Ribs were awesome calamari was fine. It is a pricey place so expect to spend but worth it. Wait staff and bar staff were awesome and took great care of us. Make reservations in advance. We didn’t have any and walked in during breakfast and happy hour and had to wait about 30 mins for a table so it wasn’t too bad.

Steve Chan — Google review

Blackened Ahi was elevated and tasty. Rack of lamb was a bit pricey and had a lot going on with the dish. Need to share that we understood dessert can take up to 20 minutes to make. We ended up ordering the chocolate souffle. To our surprise, it came to our table broken and the molten chocolate was already seeping out of the cake. Not sure what happened but was very disappointed that we didn't get a chance to pierce the cake with our fork to see the molten, chocolate oozing out. To make things worse our server admitted that the cake was broken but never once apologized or even offered to replace it!

Visited Humble Market Kitchen a few times and we enjoyed their food. From the dinner menu the beef ribs were really good along with the pele sushi and the beef dumplings. They've got a direct view of the ocean, make sure to have reservations prior to arriving or else you'll be waiting a long time!

Suhayb Kamal — Google review

We at breakfast here almost every morning and the serene view overlooking true paradise is forever engrained in my brain. Plus, the food selection from the buffet was appetizing as well. I only caught the corned beef has one day, but I was longing for it after that first day. Unfortunately, it's one of those rotated menu items, so I wasn't there long enough to have it again. Nonetheless, you will not be disappointed by the food or friendly service!

Sean D — Google review

The servers were super kind with the exception of one but it does not change the rating because she was just one person. We had a fantastic dinner and fantastic breakfast here. Dinner was excellent, it did take a long to get to us but it was still so tasty. Breakfast was a buffet and there were so many delicious options. The atmosphere and views were beautiful. For dinner we started with Crispy Calamari, I had the Blackened Ahi and my husband had the pork tender braised beef short rib. My drink was the Pumpkin Pie Martini, which was so 10/10. Dessert was the Pineapple upside down cake made with Maui Gold pineapple.

Yesenia Robledo — Google review

The restaurant had a small menu, but everything on it was amazing! The potato crusted fresh catch and short ribs were amazing. We celebrated our anniversary together at the restaurant and we're treated like royalty. The staff took pictures of us at sunset and gave us a champagne flute to celebrate our night and as "props" for our picture. The desert was not only good, but the best vanilla desert I have ever had!

My wife and I had our wedding dinner here - and it was perfect! Our coordinator, Marie, was very professional, prompt, and helpful throughout our planning - including accommodating some of our vegan guests. Our private dining room was intimate and comfortable with beautiful decorations. The food was outstanding - many of our guests remarked that it was their favorite part of their entire Maui trip. The service was above and beyond anything I've ever seen. Perfectly attentive and prompt. Additionally, they made some of our sleepy children aged guests little makeshift beds when they noticed them dozing - without any of us even asking. Outstanding!5/5 - you can trust them to make your occasion perfectly fit whatever your needs may be. We'll definitely be back one day!

Landon Smith — Google review

We had a wonderful time. The view was amazing and the service was top notch. Food was the best we have had on the island. The only thing is that we felt rushed. It was "no rush but are you ready to order." This happened with the appetizers and with the desserts (we were NOT being rushed like 6 times). My hubby had gone to the RR and as he was trying to sit back down asked if he was ready to order the dessert. We said no and he came back less than a minute later ready to take our dessert order as we were still trying to eat. Now he did warn that some of the desserts took up to 25 minutes to make we just needed 5 min or so to look at the options.

Mariana Monarrez — Google review

The food here was pretty good and tasted good. The prices were quite hefty as entrees were all $60 and over. The kids option however was a three course meal with lots of good choices for the second course. It was an amazing deal of $17 for the entire thing. The kids loved it! Service was pretty good but they lacked refilling our water. We also ordered 2 sprites and those never came but they were never mentioned in the check. This place is good if you are wanting a nice place to go on vacation!

Sam Stark — Google review

Definitely get the roasted brussel sprouts and cauliflower appetizer! Friendly service, but a loud venue. Beautiful view to enjoy the sunset. The food and service were great, the atmosphere is good but surprisingly casual for the price tag. Expect more family dinner and less romantic date spot.

Maximilian Kaufmann — Google review

The restaurant was a good experience. Like Kapa, the waiters were extremely attentive and came often to refill drinks. Allen was an especially amazing waiter. With the exception of the Calamari (which was very good), the food did not live up to the price point. The venue was nicely decorated and I enjoyed the view of the ocean.

Nicklaus Anderson — Google review

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Humble Market Kitchin, and I can't stop raving about this place! From the moment I walked in, I was captivated by the stunning location. This is hands down the best spot to watch the sunset on the island. Now, let's talk about the food. The short ribs were melt-in-your-mouth perfection, and the sashimi was incredibly fresh. The chef's recommendations were spot-on, and I couldn't have been happier with my choices. The combination of exquisite cuisine and a breathtaking sunset view makes Humble Market Kitchin an absolute must-visit. The service was top-notch, the ambiance was delightful, and I left with a heart full of gratitude and a belly full of delicious memories. I'll definitely be returning for more unforgettable evenings. Five stars without a doubt! 🌅🍽️✨

Kevin Quang — Google review

Food: The food is generally good despite a bit too expensive. The korean chicken & waffle was really good, chicken is tender and skin is crispy. The blackened ahi and crusted local catch were also good. Sashimi is okay.View: The view for sunset is amazing! Highly recommend. This is also the main reason to visit this place, not many restaurants have such good sunset views.Service: The service is also pretty good and quick. After knowing we're here to celebrate anniversary, they greeted us and prepared us a dessert post meals.

Starry Yuan — Google review

Our server was Jansen and he was absolutely fantastic! He was very attentive, personable, and kind. The food was very delicious. Big portions and reasonably priced compared to other restaurants in the area. We came for dinner and had the Braised Short ribs and Korean Fried Chicken. Definitely recommend both dishes if you stop in.

The Grand Wailea Dining Room is a luxurious establishment with excellent service that features seating inside and out, as well as buffet style options. They offer fresh made to order entrees to go with their selection of juices and coffee. The resort hotel's dining room is very large and gorgeously decorated, making it perfect for breakfast or dinner.

The brunch isn’t cheap but even as a genetically cheap person it’s worth every cent. Life is short. Eat at the buffet.

WARNING! I was called today stating there will no buffet option the entire month of April at Ikena, just a la carte. If you are planning on eating here, this is what I am told and they canceled my reservation. I made my reservations in August 2023 for my trip. One month before appearing I get this news.

A full service dining room, very large and elegantly decorated. They offer seating inside and out with exceptional service. The dining room being very large and providing seating outside as well as inside this was a great establishment for breakfast. The large windows and open doors allowing the tropical sun made the ambience very vibrant and refreshing. They offered table service as well as buffet style options, the buffet options were excellent in terms of freshness, quality and variety. A vast selection of fresh fruits, rolls, eggs etc. The table service also provides fresh made to order entrees to go with the fresh coffee or selection of juices. One thing I sought out was that fresh island pineapple which was absolutely perfect!Cheers!

We went for the Rose brunch ($115 per person) on Father's day. Service was outstanding. Donna was our server and she was very attentive. The prime rib was very very tender! The shrimps and oysters were my favorite. They had a made to order omelet bar which was very popular but I spiked it. The rose included with our meal was decent. The French toast was ok. The ahi with capers was excellent. There was also lots of baked good, but I skipped that. You can purchase additional drinks if you like. I just had water and Rose. The coffee included was disappointing for the price. The live music playing was very pleasant with the meal.

Grand Wailea Breakfast👧Staff were friendly, and happy to help with any requirements you may have.🥘 So many options to suit a variety of tastebuds. There fresh fruit and vegetables were to die for. I love how they cater for all dietary requirements.💵 Prices are reasonable ($32USD per head), especially for the quality of food you are getting.🗺 Beautiful ocean views & relaxing calm atmosphere. The outside seating although limited is the best. Get in early for better seats.

Came for the Sunday brunch ($65 for adults and $30 for kids) to celebrate a birthday.Sat at 1130 and finished eating by 1230. The restaurant wasn't full. The seafood chowder was really well made. Meat station was good... suckling pig was a little dry. We did enjoy the eggs Benedict with crab cake the most.Sushi, crab legs and shrimp were all pretty good. Oysters we're not super cold, which can be a bit unappealing.Dessert selection was good. Macarons were tasty... the extra sugar on the plate is probably not needed. All in all, we ate well and enjoyed the selection and service.

Starbucks is a coffeehouse chain with locations all around Seattle. It is known for its signature roasts and light bites. The staff is friendly and the food and drink quality is high. However, morning lines can be long, so be patient. Pricing can be higher than usual Starbucks locations.

This store is located in our hotel. The staff has been good about explaining what comes with our free breakfast.I have eaten the cheese danish and the blueberry score. I preferred the danish.Lines can be long at times, but that is due to many customers at one time. The store seems to have plenty of staff. Orders are filled in a timely fashion.

Decent sized Starbucks with everything you might expect. Morning lines can be looong so go early or wait till the morning rush dies off around 10:30

Google asked me for this review of Starbucks and I’m guessing Starbucks in general. So generally Starbucks is good, my preference for coffee in the am. Always clean, fast and consistent. So my review is 5 stars for Starbucks.

Nice Starbucks location within the Marriott resort. The staff is friendly and the food and drink quality is on par with other locations. The line can back up in the mornings so be patient! Pricing is higher than a usual Starbucks.

I went here with my daughter to get a snack and drink, she was paying. The caisher lady asked my daughter to sign a paper, she did and it went well.Later when we were leaving the caisher lady got the paper and started to talk and laugh about my daughters signature. The Kea Lani egg bar offers a variety of breakfast items that will satisfy any cravings. The buffet offers a great deal of variety, with options including delicious eggs Benedict.

Extensive and delicious breakfast buffet! It's only open for breakfast, but man does it deliver! Such a wide selection of options to choose from, and all were consistently being restocked and kept hot. Doesn't have a specific pancake/waffle station like four seasons, but still has those items in the buffet. Well worth the money!

Steven Hayes — Google review

Dined outside in the fine restaurant for dinner. Top notch experience. Breakfast buffet was just Ok

Henry Mandell — Google review

Horrible service overall. The food was completely and utterly unremarkable, not anything to write home about (especially compared to the breakfast at the Four Seasons). Silverware was unclean to start, and the service only went downhill from there. We we offered no choice of milk to accompany our coffee. The bill was given to us right as we began to dine. Overall breakfast at the Fairmont was unimpressive.

Justin Ruiss — Google review

Great spot to grab a co*cktail and snacks while you watch the sunset. I love their decor and the co*cktails are really good. The Logsdan is particularly fantastic if you're in to smoky whiskey drinks. The food menu is limited but quite tasty. Even when we don't stay at the Fairmont we like to pop in for a co*cktail and a sunset.

$99 for dinner. Totally overpriced! Really terrible food!! The buffet not worthy at all. Don’t go for dinner! So disappointed!!!

From the moment I called to ask for information and up to the day of my daughter 18th birthday, the manager and her team that morning was awesome. Accommodating my needs to set up and allowing us to have a table for decoration and set up her birthday cake. U thank you Kea Lani crew for allowing my daughter to enjoy her 18th at your restaurant. This is definitely one for the books.

Akamai Coffee is a coffee shop in Wailea Village that offers some of the best coffee in Maui. They have an excellent breakfast and brunch menu, as well as delicious iced coffee. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the cafe is a great place to spend a morning or afternoon.

Akamai is the absolute best!! My husband and I came here almost every morning while on vacation in Maui. They make an excellent cappuccino. This coffee shop was a joy to come to and I wish we had one closer to our home. A must try while in Maui!

Christina Pamer — Google review

Hip & friendly. Probably the only place in this area with exceptional coffee. There’s a short line that tends to develop so you might have to wait a bit. We tried their espresso and a cappuccino and loved it. Food seems high quality too. There are other coffee spots on Maui worth mentioning but none of them are in this area.

Plus Aziz — Google review

Lovely cafe with good breakfast options and wonderful views. We tried the Egg Toast and Caprese Sandwich and really like the fresh greens and sourdough bread. The service was quick even though the place was busy. Really nice food and good quality. Their coffee is famous and lives up to the hype.

Soumen B — Google review

Excellent way to start the day! The huevos rancheros and egg toast were both on point, and the scones were some of the best I’ve ever had. The N.O.L.A. iced coffee was amazing - I love coffee and pour overs but find that iced coffee is usually a little too strong/bitter for my taste, but this was slightly sweetened to perfection. Super friendly staff with good suggestions and great service.Definitely coming back!

Dave Godar — Google review

In our experience finding good espresso in Hawaii has been a challenge. However we have been super happy with the drinks we got from Akamai Coffee. It’s a pretty chill atmosphere, however it can get busy as you get into the mid morning so plan on being there for a least 10-15 minutes if the line is out the door.

Great food, delicious coffee. They have freshly made slices of banana bread that are also so tasty. Line starts to get long around 7am so recommend going earlier if you want to avoid a wait. Perfect place to stop before heading to the beach!

Akamai is the best coffee shop in the area. The friendliest and most helpful staff. Pleasant and courteous. The coffee was excellent and food was delicious. Highly recommend. We spent about $80 on breakfast for 3 people.

Luke Murphy — Google review

Amazing good! Best breakfast place so far. The avocado toast is yummy. Keep in mind Sundays is coffee only. I would not recommend the waffle. It was a little dry and lacked flavor. The French toast is 100% better!

Stephanie Lynn — Google review

Lovely atmosphere & aesthetic! Delicious food and coffee, view of other islands from the lanai. Very relaxed vibes, but popular/ can get crowded, so worth it! Can be a line out the door but it moves quickly. Staff is very efficient & friendly!

One of the best coffee on Maui but still need some work of food menu it’s not bad but I feel like that need more flavours

Orest Martynets — Google review

Up early and walk in at 6:15am to five people already waiting for orders in the small interior space. My cortado was fantastic and I enjoyed it on the back patio while sunrise slowly illuminated Lana’i off in the distance. I stayed a while and when I went back inside to order again, the line was out the door! Also, it was a Tuesday, so the market downstairs opened at 8am & the general area was bustling.Anyone rating under 5stars is a serious snob. Highly recommend 🤙🏼

This luxury resort is located in Wailea on the island of Maui. It has a total of 750 rooms including 74 suites, nine pools, and a spa with an array of therapies. It is one of the most prestigious resorts in Hawaii and welcomes guests from all over the world.

My recent stay at the Grand Wailea in Hawaii was a dream come true. This high-end resort is located in the breathtaking Wailea area and boasts sandy stretches of beach, lush golf courses, and fancy shops and dining options. As soon as I stepped into the lobby, I was blown away by the beauty of the resort. The architecture was stunning, and the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. I felt right at home from the moment I arrived. One of my favorite experiences during my stay was taking advantage of the photo session that was available to us. The professional photographers captured some stunning shots of my partner and I against the backdrop of the resort, and these photos will always be a special memory for us.The Grand Wailea has everything you could possibly want in a resort. The multiple pools, including a lazy river and an adults-only pool, were incredible. The spa and fitness center were top-notch, and the beach was just steps away from the property. I even had the opportunity to try some water sports and activities, which was so much fun. When it came to dining, the Grand Wailea did not disappoint. We tried several restaurants on the property, and each one was absolutely delicious.I cannot recommend the Grand Wailea enough. From the luxurious amenities to the beautiful setting and friendly staff, every aspect of my stay was truly special. If you're looking for a memorable and luxurious vacation in Hawaii, this resort is the place to be.

Keegan Whitla — Google review

This hotel is under refurbishment. We were not told before arriving that most of the resort is closed down. We paid a large amount of money to be at a resort with almost no amenities or activities for children. What is advertised on their website is not actually available in person. The resort is badly in need of updating as the furniture and rooms are extremely old. The paint was peeling off the ceiling of our suite. We stayed at 3 different resorts while in Hawaii and the other 2 (Hyatt Regency in Maui, Turtle Bay in Oahu) had just been renovated during COVID shutdown and we're beautiful. The service at the Grand Wailea was also wanting. Our server at dinner didn't greet us for a very long time. Then it took 20 minutes for our drinks to come, another 20 for bread and appetizers etc. The meal was over $600 and the food was very average and the service was terrible. The grounds of the hotel are beautiful and the pool is fun. It just is not worth the price.

Beth Kovach — Google review

Edit: We decided to cancel the booking given the recent reviews about the renovations. My rating is solely based on the customer service I experienced on the phone. Even though the booking was non-refundable they easily cancelled our reservation without any trouble and I found that they were very helpful on the phone. Would definitely try the hotel once renovated!-----------Have booked a one-week trip coming up in August. I called the hotel to get some information about the room before booking and the lady I spoke to, Lili, was super nice. She did however say that there's construction but it wont be disruptive. Hoping for a good experience when I get there as it's our anniversary trip and first time in Maui! some of the reviews have me worried! fingers crossed! will update after the trip!

Mahshid T — Google review

This resort is absolutely gorgeous and the service is top notch. Rebekah Curtis in concierge helped me plan so much of my family's vacation and we had the best experiences because of her. Definitely lean on concierge to plan your dining and exploring on Maui--Rebekah's input elevated our vacation from great to AMAZING. We also had a missing stuffed animal incident (one of our daughter's beloved toys), but the staff went above and beyond to find it and saved the day just as we were heading to the airport to go home!We ate at Olivine on our first night and it was fantastic--not one morsel of food was left on our plates. The main lobby bar has outstanding co*cktails...I went with the crazy, smoking old fashioned and it was delicious and quite the presentation. The only complaint I could possibly have is that the resort is still under various phases of construction so every other day a slide at the pool wasn't working, which was disappointing if you're there with children, and not all restaurants are open. They could probably use an extra bartender at the swim up bar, but the one working always did a great job and was incredibly friendly. It was also a bit of a hike for use from our room down to the pool and beach, so if you forgot something in the room you'd certainly get your exercise for the day. Speaking of which the fitness center is beautiful and every piece of equipment is high end.If we're ever in Maui again we'd come back to the Grand Wailea.

We enjoyed our stay here more than words can express. This is one of the only places this past year where customer service remains a priority. Kindness from everyone who worked there at every corner. The location for us was fantastic. Our room- gorgeous. As of 7/17/23, all the water slides are open. The spa and 2 wings are under construction. We stayed for 4 days and had a great experience. Kids had an awesome time at the pool even though the 2 big slides were closed for half the time.Construction sound did not bother us -- hardly noticed it except for the closed spa. Staff was awesome and very accommodating. Our room was nicely updated and had a nespresso machine despite other current posted pictures.Only gripe was that parking is valet only and $65/day.

It's nice but currently under construction and few little issues to be aware of. Weird deal where my young daughter got locked in the bathroom for an hour when the lock broke but they eventually got her out, Also tough to get a glass of ice water at the pool since they want you buy more bottled water and refill it yourself. Great location and family friendly.

My first trip to Maui was made memorable by my stay at the Grand Wailea. The hotel was beautiful, the service excellent. They made us feel special. We loved that we were able to walk from our hotel to the beach where they set up our umbrella and lounge chairs, which allowed us to swim in the ocean. They offered snorkeling where we were able to see the beautiful Coral, and the beautiful fish. We also swam next to a sea turtle as he came up for air. I felt like we were swimming in an aquarium. There is so many things I liked about my stay, but these are but a few. I would recommend this resort to anyone looking for a great vacation.

Pros - Great ocean view rooms.- Beach is small but good- Property is 5 star level with pools- Lots of cool spots to click pics.- Front desk and room service is good.- Koi pond is a good touch next to rooms.- Rooms are spacious and family friendly.Great for couples.Cons - Housekeeping folks knick <$20 items.Went without housekeeping after that.- Very strict on late checkout- New coffee machines don't get enough coffee pods.We didnt have one for 2/5 days.Rest was decaf for 1 person.- No sunscreen or easily present bottle refill stations.- Attention to detail is missing everywhere due to focus on quantity over quality.- They don't provide basic things in the room like toothpaste, you have to request every single thing and the staff is not pleased if you don't tip for this.- Concierge does not give info about amenities or facilities so have to know by yourself, we got to know at the end of our trip that they have shuttles to anywhere in Wailea.- Big TV but no way to get Netflix etc, they want to upcharge you for movies etc.Almost useless features tech wise.Overall for the price it's a big disappointment but the views are great, lots of options in this area so next time id stay elsewhere even if you have status.

We had a wonderful experience at the Grand Wailea! The staff go above and beyond to ensure excellence. The location on beautiful Wailea beach, the delicious food and amazing facilities all set the stage for an amazing vacation. Best of all was the service we experienced from all of the staff members we encountered throughout the resort. Their proactive positive approach to make our trip the best ever and their kindness will always be remembered.

As of this post, the hotel was in the process of some construction but was never intrusive or disruptive. The hotel is magnificent but the furnishings, while exceptionally clean and comfortable, showed their age a bit. That’s the only criticism I have of the hotel and they’re addressing it. Otherwise, it may be the most beautiful hotel I’ve ever stayed at. It’s near the Four Seasons which is also gorgeous, but the layout of the Grand Wailea is unmatched. It essentially hugs the beach and spills right out onto it. It is stunning. That’s the property. The staff absolutely lives up to the hotel’s beauty. I’ve never had such a warm and enjoyable experience with every single employee I had contact with. I had an absolutely wonderful experience and can’t wait to return.

The hotel floor we were in was recently renovated (2023). It's spacious and the bathroom is beautiful and relaxing. Staff was very helpful. The water slides and lazy river made for fun family time. We went in April spring break and the pool and beach never felt crowded. The spa and shopping area make it easy to get items if you don't plan on leaving the property. We're definitely returning soon!

The hotel it pretty good but the valet people are kind of a-holes. They threatened to call there security office on my step-father if he didn't move his car while we were checking in to the room. We were on there expected check in list that day and I know this because the manager told him we were on the list. Also you have to reserve your activities which can be booked days after you checked in to the hotel I wanted to do ukulele lessons but there were booked up to a week after we checked in. Look I get it, it's a popular hotel but come on it's Hawaii if ukulele lessons are offered of course there going to be popular. There's a bunch of other cool stuff you can do and more so if your willing to pay more, like they have a cool yoga and nut bracelet making activity which I thought was cool. They also hula lessens witch I found cool as well but they were also book out bad. I wish things were more available. Great room, not bad location and service could use a renovation.

Gorgeous hotel and super friendly staff. They are currently doing some renovations but I think it would be an amazing destination wedding location once everything is completed! Lots of pool options and the beds are super comfy. Can’t wait to go back!

Cash upgrade to napua lounge worth it . Pricey. Lounge chairs are all together without spaces so spent 600.00 for cabana daily for 2 days. Big splurge. 65 to park yikes. Food good. Service great. Not crowded.

Actually, I've never stayed here overnight. Every time I visit the location, I see something new and beautiful. I like the stores. The layout of the lobby is incredible. The landscape is a like walking in a dream. The staff is welcoming even if they know that you're not a guest.

Larry Miller — Google review

Amazing facility located on one of the best beaches in Maui. Perfect for sunsets. Good snorkeling right to the south of the resort. Saw Eels, Turtles, Trigger fish etc... the main restaurant was under renovation while we were there. Also, some hotel renovation is going on but not disturbing. Plenty of good places to eat within a 10-15 min. easy walk. Well kept grounds, room was clean and well maintained. I almost wish that there was a microwave in the room. We got so much food every place we ate and had to leave it behind. The lobby and main common area is breathtaking. Nice selection of shopping on resort that is not price gouging. I bought some Olu Kai sandals and they were the same price as in many of the off-site shopping locations. Nice little market to grab and go or order lite lunches and breakfast items.

The Wailea Beach Resort - Marriott, Maui offers luxurious accommodations overlooking the ocean and neighboring islands. Multiple restaurants and pools are available for guests.

My husband and I stayed 5 nights here on a Points + Cash redemption in a partial ocean view king room. We loved every second of our stay!!! We thought the value of upgrading our room to have an ocean view was well worth it, and we were lucky to have our balcony on the ground floor for easy access to the pool. The staff at the hotel are all incredibly kind and responsive. I told them we were celebrating a milestone at my husbands job, and we were welcomed to our room with a bottle of champagne and a congratulatory dessert! It was such a nice treat and made us feel so special! As a Platinum elite member, we chose the breakfast option as our benefit. There are a couple places to get your coffee, pastry, and fruit cup for that benefit, but we found the Starbucks to have the best options/variety. You get a tall drink of your choice and a pastry like pumpkin bread off their menu options. We did not receive a room upgrade, which I politely requested via email before hand as a Platinum member, so I think that’s kind of just how it goes at this resort, but we are only one data point! The rest of the resort amenities, variety of pools, and proximity to the beach are all amazing and a great tribute to why this hotel was a great choice for newlywed couples, families, and older couples alike. The one minor thing that this hotel lacked compared to others in the area was direct beachfront access (5 minute walk either direction, with complementary beach chairs on Wailea beach), but the trade off in my opinion is better views of the ocean from the rooms and the pools! All in all, we were very happy with our stay and would recommend it to anyone!!!

Robyn Marshall — Google review

Stayed here on points, booked a garden view room and got upgraded to ocean view, which was amazing. Very welcoming and attentive staff, and we enjoyed our welcome drinks and the poolside bar. The infinity pool is spectacular, we spent a majority of our day just looking at the ocean from the pool.Probably would not be able to justify staying here paying cash (rates were $1500+/night when we visited), but was definitely worth it on points, and would be worth it if you found some off-season deals.

Family of four with two young children, recently completed our spring break stay at Wailea Beach Resort. We were greeted by a helpful manager at check in with fun welcome amenities, and great luggage assistance from the bell hop. We had an excellent ocean view in Hale 6, with walkout. Kids pool was fantastic as was the other pool offerings. The outrigger experience didn’t disappoint. The rooms are well appointed and comfortable for our stay. Excellent quality all around and we hope to be able to stay again one day. Sarah and Leslie were beyond helpful to us on our pre-arrival arrangements. Thank you Wailea Beach Resort staff for one of the best vacations we’ve ever has.

David Selby — Google review

I've stayed here twice - once many years ago, and once this week. Both visits we were silver award holders and we had a much superior experience in our first stay. This stay, we decided to spend a large amount of points (equivalent to a $1000/night ) for a King Garden View. Our view was of neighboring condos and the service lot. We heard and saw many large trucks and construction noises (drilling & beeping) from our room. For the dollar amount and our status, it was disappointing. BE AWARE there is construction going on around the Haleakala building currently (July 2023). These rooms are not worth the price tag!!!Despite this, the room was nice. Like other reviews, the bathrooms are a little small but are fine. The pool facilities are excellent, and the location is great. We spent some time in the pool and hot tubs, relaxed by the pool with a view of the ocean, and took a short walk to one of the neighboring beaches. We had excellent service at the bar/restaurant and front desk staff. We would have had a perfect stay with a better room.On our previous stay (2018), we had a pool view room with partial ocean view for 2 nights for far less $$ than the one night. We were gifted a bottle of wine and a box of chocolate mac nuts. It was the ideal Maui vacation! We couldn't wait to go back... unfortunately I now am hesitant to recommend it. For the price tag and inconsistencies, we will stay elsewhere on our next trip to Maui.

Danielle DeMeter — Google review

It was an amazing stay at the hotel. I was really happy with the cleanliness of the room. The maids did a great job every day. The room was nice, had a great view, and was well-furnished. It had a sidewalk that connected down to the beach, as well as other hotels. It was nice being able to walk along the beach so conveniently. It also has quite a few shops, but not that many restaurants outside of their own. The only point of improvement I could think of is the parking deck. The valet section was fine, but the self-parking section was a disaster. Often, people would park in 2 parking spots which created a huge shortage of spots. My family and I could not find a spot a few times and it was frustrating. The stay overall was a very pleasant experience and I would go back again.

The premium balcony with ocean view was amazing, the resort was beautiful, plenty of things to do, with lots of things to see around the resort. Very kid friendly; there are kids pools in the property but also adults only pools. The service was amazing as well! Judy at the front desk was super helpful, ALL the valet guys were so kind and courteous. Some of them even remember you by name. Great experience overall!

Wonderful resort! Beautiful views! The staff were all friendly, kind and so helpful! Make sure you get an oceanview room its worth it! The food at the restaurants were all great! (Kappa was delicious..had dinner one night .) This resort is especially great if you have a family with young children there's a pool with water slides..

We love this resort. We’ve stayed here twice in the last few years and each trip we had excellent customer service and beautiful rooms. For our honeymoon we were upgraded to an absolutely breathtaking room with a water view. The restaurants on the property are very good and the pools are a lot of fun. The 21+ pool is a calm and enjoyable pool. You can have a drink in the pool while watching the sunset. We will definitely stay here again in the future.

Luxury at its best. We started with 3 nights with them and we can not praise the hotel and its staff enough. Joy was our guest experience expert and she went above and beyond to make our stay phenomenal. My husband and I were delighted with hospitality and personalized care that we spent extra two days with them. I would highly recommend booking their spa and their private infinity pool cabana for sunset, it’s surreal.

siddhi mehta — Google review

We stayed here for a week in May and had a very nice time. The property is beautiful with amazing ocean views. The staff were great, friendly and always helpful. We also got a free upgrade to an ocean view room. The Olokini pool was amazing, we went there twice and it was the best experience we had at any pool. The only downside was that other guests did not know that there was a charge for this pool and they would come in and sit down, then the staff would have to explain to them that there was a charge for this pool. Most guests got up and left and then the same thing would happen again and again. These interruptions could be avoided by just having signage that explains what the terms are.The other pools were good, but one day we actually had to make up our own cabana, which is unheard of at any resort. Drinks and food were very good at the pool. The gym at the hotel is one of the best hotel gyms I have used, offering plenty of choices for functional fitness. It was also very clean. The Shops of Wailea were a 2 minute walk away, so plenty of dining options without needing a ride somewhere. The room was really nice, we had a fridge, a nice ocean view and we were close to the elevator. Our room on the 5th floor was quiet, but one morning we were woken up at 6am, by a member of the pool maintenance staff, who was barking at the top of his voice at one of the pool workers. The way he talked to the young guy was quite disgusting, like he was stupid. That was terrible to see and hear. This is the only real complaint I have. There doesn't seem to be a service elevator either, so the elevators can be slow, because the house keeping staff are using them as well.On the day of departure, we discovered our flight was delayed, so we were also given late checkout for free. We definitely appreciated that.Other than the unfortunate incident mentioned above, we really enjoyed our stay here and will stay here again when in Wailea.

Paul B — Google review

We stayed here for our honeymoon a few weeks ago and we loved it so much we ended up extending our stay another night! The rooms were fantastic (we had garden view but could still see part of Wailea beach) and the pools (there are several) were amazing. They even brought everyone complimentary ice cream at the pool while we were there. Would definitely stay here again next time we come to Maui.

Ashley Goldberg — Google review

Location wise it doesn’t get much better than this. Had a room with a great view over the Pacific Ocean. The whole resort is beautifully decorated and offers great selection of pools and very entertaining slides. Staff was all around dedicated and friendly. The rooms themselves do not quite match the rest of the experience though, especially for the money they ask. They feel like Motel rooms with the open vanity and very small shower room. The tiled floor throughout also means a rather cold stay instead of a homely feeling. It does need TLC here and there but I would stay here again.

Nicolas La Rocco — Google review

The luau at the Marriott Wailea is top tier. Absolutely amazing experience. The entertainment, food and service is excellent. My parents have a hard time hearing. The host graciously moved us closer and was very kind.My father is on a gluten free diet and they brought specially prepared dishes for him. Drinks were delicious. Definitely reserve this luau today.

5-star experience. We initially had issue with our room, however after voicing our issues to hotel management (Eric Duff), they went above and beyond to ensure we were satisfied. Overall it is a very clean resort and we found customer service overall to be 5 star. We walked a few of the neighboring resorts and concluded that this hotel had it all (great pools, location, landscape, and customer service). We will absolutely return.

Darrell Ford — Google review

10/10 experience all around. We looked at other resorts in the area and landed on Wailea Beach Resort for our honeymoon and couldn’t have been happier. From the beautiful grounds, to the amazing staff, infinity pool with oceanfront views and an awesome restaurant Humble Kitchin right on the property - this is the place you need to stay for your next Maui getaway. Plus every single employee was extremely nice and shared the Aloha spirit!

Tyler Whitt — Google review

Typical cash grab resort. We were disappointed with our stay at the Wailea Resort. The resort itself is nice and well laid out with adult only pools and plenty of places to eat. We became frustrated with all of the hidden fees you don’t know about until you book. Right off the bat we were hit with a $38 self parking fee or $50 valet fee per day. There is no other parking alternative except to pay these fees. Then the first night we weren’t able to eat at one of the restaurants due to them being fully booked for the evening. So we ordered room service. We expected the price to be higher due to this type of service, and to tip the delivery person but on top of the inflated prices there was a 10ish % service charge and a $7 delivery fee. So you quickly spend over $100 for a simple dinner for two.The next day we went to the pool to find more fees. Any of the cabanas were $650 to reserve for the day poolside. There were also covered lounges that overlooked the ocean that were also fee associated to use them. The only “free” seating by the pool were lounge chairs they may or may not have umbrellas. But if the wind picks up, the umbrellas are quickly folded to protect them. The topping on the cake is that there is a daily resort fee. What this pays for I don’t know as you have to rent snorkeling equipment and similar equipment for the beach. It’s cheaper to bring your own snorkeling stuff than pay per day to use it here. This has been the only resort we have ever been to that charges a resort fee and snorkeling equipment rental. We won’t be retuning. The Hyatt in Hana is cheaper, more secluded, included tons of equipment in the resort fee and felt exclusive and didn’t feel like a cash grab. If we come back, we’ll go back to Hana.

Great resort. When we arrived we had to wait two hours for our room but they had a lounge. Unfortunately, they were poor at explaining where the locker room was and we walked all over the resort. It was hot and we were carrying a lot of stuff. The staff since then have been attentive and seem motivated to make the guest experience good. The property is great with everything you would want.

Tim Booher — Google review

The hotel is just the best. We booked a garden room but it had a really good view of the ocean too. The pools are well maintained and clean. The property has so much to do and the service is generally good. There were some issues with the tv in our room but compensated for it. On our last day we spent some time making leis by the aloha sign. The location is spectacular. The one thing we didn’t like is the parking situation. Spots are super tight and the room keys don’t always work on the sensor to get the parking gate open.

Kamna — Google review

I was actually visiting the resort for a wedding. From the outside looking in, it's gorgeous. There's valet service, a grand outdoor lobby area, and awesome beach/sunset views from standing at the lobby area too! There's a downhill walk to the beach. I saw a private pool section for adults only that offered amenities. Didn't see any rooms though, unfortunately. A quite exquisite fancy resort hotel indeed. And there's an big ALOHA sign that has bulb lights around its letters that's great for pictures!

We absolutely loved our time at the Wailea Beach Resort. Our garden view was gorgeous with only ten steps to the infinity pool. Our room was serviced every day. The rooms could stand an update but the beds are very comfortable

The Four Seasons Resort Maui at Wailea is a luxurious island property that offers elegant accommodations and a variety of activities. Located on Mauis prime site along Wailea Beach, this resort provides access to a spa, dining options, pools, tennis courts, and the beach. The hotel boasts beautifully designed high-ceiling suites with ocean views. With three swimming pools and three restaurants on-site, guests have everything they need for a relaxing stay.

My wife and I stayed here 7 nights for our honeymoon and it did not disappoint. The service was absolutely top notch from the staff at breakfast, pool attendants, to the front desk staff. Everyone was extremely helpful and delivered the best experience. The views are to die for and Wailea beach is regarded as one of the best for good reason. The room was great and all amenities were of the highest quality.

Our stay was in 2021, but it is not forgotten. How can you forget perfection. From sunrise to bed time everything is perfect. The service is beyond first class and the staff quickly gets to know you especially poolside and at breakfast. Our room was so well kept and incredibly clean with daily service on the highest level for any of our wishes. The food is amazing from Wolfgang's restaurant to the Italian restaurant by the pool or the amazing breakfast buffet each morning. The hotel has a FANTASTIC reef right out in front of the hotel that is so nice that many tour boats pull up to it during the day, such that their clients can use it. Whether you want to Paddle-board, Scuba, Snorkel or whatever the resort can accommodate and proved instruction if you wish. One of the most amazing parts is the property itself with it breathtaking grounds and vista views, trails, nightly fire walk by locals in period costume or just the cleanliness and open air concept of the hotel itself. BTW the parrot is a hoot in the gardens. We can't wait to come back and think about our trip every day as our pictures are screen savers. Thanks to all that work there for making our Hawaiian trip a lifelong memory.

From the moment we entered we were greeted by the staff and immediately started to take care of us. The resort is absolutely stunning and very clean. Exactly what you expect from the four seasons.I also forgot to add that if you see wildlife, such as turtles etc on the beach, please do not get excited or get too close for a pic because one of staff members will try to fight you and get in your face in front of your children and accuse you of causing harm to the turtles where security had to get involved. Let’s say this was pretty embarrassing and something you don’t want your small children to see. Unfortunately this ruined the last day stay for me as I was having an incredible time there prior to that. This is not something you’d ever expect from a 5 star resort while you’re on vacation let alone at a Four Seasons Resort. Otherwise I would’ve gladly given the service a 5 star because everyone else was phenomenal.

Four Seasons Resort Maui at Wailea is incredible! We visited in November 2021 for our wedding anniversary and couldn’t have asked for a better accommodation. The rooms were extremely comfortable and the lanai with views of the pacific were so relaxing. An added touch was having the Hawaiian music in the bathroom - loved this so much! The grounds were beautiful and well-kept, and the pools were refreshing. The adult infinity pool and swim-up bar were especially great! We did the outrigger canoe experience which was a special highlight as we got to experience Maui from the water and see lots of turtles! Breakfast at DUO every morning was wonderful, and there were always refreshing treats around the pool every afternoon. We would like to say a special thank you to Volt at DUO and Rowena at the pool - your kindness and hospitality made our trip even more special, and we truly appreciate you! You simply cannot beat Four Seasons hospitality… Mahalo for a great vacation!

The perfect hotel at the perfect location. Staff members were outstanding and always helpful and accommodating. Breakfast buffet was stellar, great selections and delicious, especially the banana bread french toast! Room was immaculate, bathroom was spotlessly clean, bed was super comfortable and we always slept deeply. Lots to do in and around the Four Seasons Resort Maui hotel property, the pool and poolside cafe bars were great, beach was fun, and everyone was sincerely enjoying themselves. Concierge was amazing. Views from the hotel were spectacular. Four Seasons has always been great, but this one at Maui is simply top notch, no flaws, just perfect in every regard. Pricey, but worth it. We loved this place and didn’t want to leave!

I didn’t stay here, we visited for the breakfast. The open buffet was the best by far! There were many selections all yummy. Staff was extremely nice with my kids and with us, they made mickey mouse pancakes in the breakfast, gave kids twix sticks and coloring pages which kept them pretty busy. They even let my 5 year old daughter play for a while at the kids club while I was with her since she saw there and wanted to see inside. Very kid friendly and great resort!

This resort was amazing. I could see whales playing in the ocean from our balcony, which was breathtaking. The infinity pool was my favorite place to be but an early morning beach walk was just as enjoyable. From the spectacular views to the kindness of the staff, I cannot wait to go back. Mahalo!

The hospitality was great from the moment we arrived. The greeter met us at the car with a flower lei and beads. Riki who brought our bags to the room was very helpful. He gave us a list of local restaurants we should try as well as informing us of the best ones located in side of the hotel. Our room was nice, clean, and spacious.

Stayed in an ocean view suite on the club level and it was just magical. The staff is so helpful and kind. The luxurious details are impeccable. Not a single plastic plant or flower to be found. Wonderful stay! Beautiful views, excellent service! Golf was amazing. Pools were not too busy, large and beautiful. My only complaint was the walk to my room. There were only two elevators and they were located towards the beach. My room was on the opposite side, so it was a very long walk.

Four Seasons is the best resort on the island. From arrival to departure we always felt a personal touch just for us. They are all about the guest and their satisfaction. We have nothing but great things to say about them. The restaurants are good if you do not want to leave the resort. The grounds are well taken care of. We stayed on the club level and the amenities were wonderful. We had great service in the club lounge from everyone there. Jiji in the club lounge went above to make my family and I feel welcome and made sure we were always taken care of.

Gorgeous hotel! Stayed here for a couple of nights with the family and the service here was great. Rooms were comfortable and clean. I really liked how they provided some pineapple samples and iced water at the pool. The games room also had a lot of variety (pool, foosball, arcade, ping-pong, shuffleboard). Loved the open concept of the gym looking towards the garden. My highlight was meeting the Four seasons mascot (Austrian eclectus parrot) Lucy!

*my visit was prior to the tragic wildfires that have impacted the island. If you are looking for a beautifully peaceful place to disconnect and unwind, then this is the place for you. The open air lobby with the gentle breezes wash over you with a feeling of relaxation and helps to quiet the mind. The property is filled with peaceful walking paths that lead you around the property or down to the beach. The staff members are exceptionally trained and they make you feel welcomed immediately. The rooms are large and the balconies are spacious and each offers its own unique view. The games room offers ping pong, a pool table, video games, foosball, and shuffle board.I especially enjoyed the rotating local vendors that sell their handmade goods ranging from jewelry to paintings to skincare. Please support Maui and visit this magical place when you can.

The Fairmont Kea Lani is an all-white royal palace-style hotel on the beaches of Maui. It has a lobby with stone floors and domed ceilings, as well as suites that start at 860 square feet and come with sleeper sofas, microwaves, and private balconies.

Beautiful hotel & resort and a perfect destination for our first-ever visit to Hawaii and a celebration of the final state on our 50-state quest. The on-site bars & restaurants were terrific, the people everywhere were friendly and helpful, and we couldn’t be more pleased. We were there just before the beginning of renovations, which probably made it a bit quieter than usual, but we enjoyed a bit more “elbow room.” We would love to return after the renovations are complete, and are sure it will be even more beautiful! One tip would be that in order to really enjoy the ocean views, a room on the third floor or higher would generally be preferred. We had a second floor room, which was blocked a bit by trees and flowers. Otherwise the room and the views were wonderful! We enjoyed watching humpbacks in the bay as well as the various surfers and rowers.

Fabulous hotel, excellent staff, great stayWe enjoyed our stay at this resort. We are very thankful for the front desk staff, we were stuck in Maui for a few extra days due to our cancelled flights, and the hotel did not charge us the rates being charged for those dates but honored the rates we were already paying. We were already stressed out trying to figure out what our options would be but as least we did not have worry about where to stay. Especially Karla Vega was very accommodating, understanding and flexible. The renovated rooms are beautiful and clean. The hospitality staff were efficient and the suites are spacious to accommodate families. Having access to the car service was useful for us to get to restaurants and the shopping mall. It is our favorite resort to stay in Maui. . We look for to visiting again.

First off, such a beautiful property! Was able to stay there for a birthday trip recently & it was just perfect! Every single one of the staff were so welcoming and kind! Really made us feel at home. The Suites are absolutely beautiful and spacious! Definitely planning another trip here in the future & looking forward to it! (:

This was one of the best hotel/resort experiences of my life. The hotel is very well maintained and the rooms are very modern. I felt like attention was paid to every little detail. We stayed in a partial ocean view suite and a head a great view of the ocean and mountains. The grounds were also very well maintained with beautiful landscaping. The resorts has numerous pools plus beach access with complimentary chairs and umbrellas. Service poolside was also great, we never felt ignored. The hotel was also very family friendly and my kids made friends easily. I definitely want to stay at more Fairmont properties.

The suite was the best hotel room I have ever been in. The large curved balcony provided views of one pool and the ocean waves crashing into tho the beach. Both Kos and Nicks provide a great atmosphere plus amazing food. My group was entertained by flaming strawberries.

My wife and I stayed here for the final night of our honeymoon, and we can't say enough positives about here! The most beautiful property, incredibly friendly and accommodating staff in all areas of the hotel, and the rooms are much larger and more luxurious for the price than the other hotels in the area. The food at Ko and the breakfast buffet were both highlights, and the spa was amazing as well. The front desk was even able to get us an extra early check-in and late check-out so that we could enjoy some additional time on the property, which was very welcomed. We would love to stay again in the future!

Amazing and beautiful vacation destination for our visit to Maui! My family and I honestly loved everything about this place. All the staff are friendly and helpful and the guest services are top notch!I would like to give a special thank you and appreciation to Mark and Olivia for their absolute dedication to superior customer service and their welcoming attitudes. They work at the Makana Market on-site and everyday of my stay I visited there to purchase items and we would talk. They always had a smile on their face and were very helpful. It was such a joy to get to know them and they made the stay even more delightful. Thank you both and I can't wait to come back.

Highly recommend! Beautiful, open, and large hotel with 5 star service from hotel staff-whatever we asked for they accommodated. There were a good number of guests but did not feel crowded, there were enough empty cushioned chairs with umbrellas for guests to sit on at pool, lawn and beach. Wonderful ocean views! Pools, waterslide and beach were fun esp for the kids & the swim up bar was fun for adults. Plenty of towels around-don’t have to keep asking the person behind the counter as other hotels have you do! They give you leis upon arrival ( what a wonderful Hawaii welcome!). Their yoga class near the beach was exceptional! Two negatives-construction by one of the pool & spa ( noise is loud & annoying!), but read its until December. Our room location ( not the best) employees shutter stop below our balcony and we can hear them talk & they can hear & see us on our balcony. Other than those 2 negatives (which one is temporary & the other fixable), we will definitely come back as one of our yearly regular Hawaii stays!

Amazing place to experience a pampered lifestyle. The plants and pools as well as the sidewalks make it an easy place to walk around and enjoy the beauty of this resort. AT NIGHT, the walks and outdoor areas are light up with torches and all sorts of lighting that is enchanting and relaxing.

LOVE LOVE LOVE! We had the corner suite and loved our one week stay. Staff is super friendly, and the room was very spacious. My 5yr old slept on a very comfy sofa bed and had plenty of room to play. I'd highly recommend this resort for families with kids!

Four of us had a breakfast buffet there. VERY GOOD!! Service was wonderful with Venus as our server. The food was great! We missed getting an omelet, didn't see the sign until we were leaving. But now you know that they have an omelet table!! 😊 We enjoyed ourselves❣️ Thanks Venus!!

A truly beautiful resort. I was lucky enough to have stayed in one of the recently renovated garden view rooms and comparing it to the one that my friends stayed in, I can say that the renovations are A+. The decor is very modern and very comfortable. All the staff are very welcoming and know how to treat you like Ohana. There are a lot of renovations being conducted presently and Ive heard they will be complete in the next year. Because of this, there are some inconveniences which, at least to me, were very minor.I cant wait to see when all the renovations are completed. The beach connected to the resort is beautiful. The waves are quite gentle and is great for water sports.

Nothing but positive things to say about our stay at the Fairmont. Hadn't been to Maui in many years and I found this place online and so happy I booked it. They have recently renovated the rooms, they were terrific. There is some construction going on still on grounds but out at the pool on a Sunday it was totally quiet.I have never stayed at a property where there were so many picturesque spots just walking around the hotel and resort grounds. The staff was very helpful and polite and really made this feel like a resort and not a hotel.Maui closes down early, so be sure you book your dining reservations early. We rented a cabana at the pool and it was just perfect. Our cabana attendant and bar/food waitress was superb and friendly. Would definitely stay here again, hopefully for more than just the two nights we were in town.

Highly recommend! We enjoyed our stay here. The grounds are clean but beautiful with lots of cultivated plants/flowers as well as wildlife (birds, lizards, koifish, etc). The rooms including bathrooms are clean and spacious. There are many water stations to refill filtered water, and the room came with two refillable water bottles. There was a microwave and fridge in each room. The concierge was great. There are activities, and the kids enjoyed the ninja activity. There is a nice walking/running path that goes down to the Four Seasons and is total less than 1.5 miles. There is a shuttle you can use to go within a mile of the hotel, which we used to go to dinner at the four seasons. There is an adult pool, and the regular pool has a slide. I felt that the space doesn't feel cramped at the pool. Staff are great.
