Welcome to DottzGaming.com’s Magicka Sorcerer Build PvE, Apothis, for the Elder Scrolls Online! This build is intended for veteran dungeons, trials and general PvE.
Magicka Sorcerer is one of the best Magicka class for beginners with a fairly easy rotation. Sustain might be a bit tough though. The new champion point system has brought up Dual Wield setups, which is slightly better on average assuming melee range is possible. Inferno staff is still good with 1~2k DPS loss, but having the flexibility to play at range. Use whichever weapons you prefer for the front bar (if you go Dual Wield, you’ll want to use 2 daggers with Nirnhoned/Charged traits).

We are using a dynamic rotation to maximize our DPS, so there’s no static rotation. It might take a bit of time to get used to it, but I highly recommend practicing a dynamic rotation so that you won’t mess up your rotation even if you have to do mechanics.
Use Barbed Trap to start the fight, and then:
Light Attack > Daedric Prey > Weapon Swap > Light Attack > (Twilight Tormentor when enemy has more than 50% health) > Light Attack > Blockade of Fire > Light Attack > Boundless Storm > Light Attack > Mystic Orb > Weapon Swap > Light Attack > Spam Elemental Weapon with Light Attack and reapply DOTs or Buffs once they fall off
- Reapply DOTs and Buffs just before they end. The only DOT you should NEVER reapply earlier is Daedric Prey. For the other DOTs or Buffs, you may reapply slightly earlier
- Crystal Fragments take priority over elemental weapon, replace one elemental weapon when it procs
- Greater Storm Atronach is our primary ultimate due to the synergy (Major Berserk) it provides the group. Make sure you place it at a place where the other DDs could use the synergy!
