    First don't break their heart. They may have put their heart and soul into it. You will never get another good piece from them again. Check to make sure information was transfered completely. Tell them up front you hardly ever accept the first submission. Keep it professional and point them in the right direction. And always be positive. You may have to guide them to your way of thinking.
